McPherson Design Group provided contract documents for this project, which included additions to six buildings on the historic campus, as well as the design of two new buildings. We are currently providing construction administration for this project. The two new buildings will be the two-story, steel framed May Building (Leadership Center) and a new Stadium with locker rooms, concession stand, bleachers and press box. The six buildings that will expand include the Refectory, the Aquatics Center, the Lower School, the Upper School, the Athletic Pavilion and the STEAM Building. Having been chartered in 1728, Norfolk Academy is the oldest secondary school in the state of Virginia as well as the eighth oldest in the United States.
