Mount Airy

This project included renovations to this 1758 mid-Georgian Plantation House. Our scope of work included field investigation of the fireplace in the West Wing and field investigation of the floor joists in the West Wing; contract documents for the temporary support of the West Wing fireplace to assist in reconstruction of the fireplace; a foundation for the fireplace in the West wing; a foundation for the fireplace in the kitchen; and providing assistance in the replacement and/or repair of the deteriorated floor joists in the West Wing. Mount Airy is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as a National Historic Landmark and on the Virginia Landmarks Register.
